Loch Kennord, Muir of Dinnet

Left the hotel today with all our gear and drove over to Deeside to recce a walk for the club in Muir of Dinnet.  Beautiful forest, lovely rocky paths, and superb weather.  Unlike the last two days no wind at all, and we all enjoyed our walk immensely.   The autumn colours were stunning and I took a lot of pictures.  Have also shown a couple of extra photos of the walk.

We had a short break or drinks in the hotel before leaving the area and drove down to the Dundee area and had our dinner at Pieperdam, a golf and leisure resort.  It was absolutely teaming, all the lodges were full due to school holidays and everyone, but everyone, seemed to be having dinner when we arrived.  We had to wait a bit to be served, but had a lovely dinner, and then drove home, arriving home at 11pm very tired but satisfied with our few days walking.
