A cold night in our holiday cottage. Fortunately there were some portable electric heaters. It was our 5th visit and we've never been cold before.

The National Trust housekeeper was excellent and in no time had arranged a move to a larger (and warmer) cottage. It appeared there was a problem with a new tank (which circulates the water for the underfloor heating) that had been put in two days before. 

After that we joined the crowds at RHS Harlow Carr. Lots of autumn colour.
