Gargoyle or Grotesque?

It was a lovely day, so I took my Aunt for a drive and we ended up in Lichfield. We had a little wander around before having lunch.

I had to take a shot of my favourite cathedral adornment before we left. This scary looking big cat is found on the rear of the cathedral.
