Flower Friday

Today is a public holiday - National Day. One of the few that are not religious holidays. Hubby grouted the tiles on the front steps then we went to the Asian restaurant in Czech Republic for lunch. We had to wait for a table it was so busy and shared it with another couple when one became free. We visited a friend in hospital then went home and lit the fire as it is cold enough now to justify it.
This is one of the few flowers around at the moment. I usually neglect this plant and it always gratefully puts out a single flower when I give it a good water. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting.

Just saw that it is my 1500th Blip! Ooops, I should have done a special one. At least I spent some time composing this one.
