Out of place in the landscape

Update: 11/6/2018:   These are traffic signal boxes and this is one of thirteen in the area that have been painted by various artists.  This program is by streetARThawaii.    This artist is Jeff Pagay.
Found this youtube video where a couple walked to all the boxes.   The one I blipped starts as No. 1.   It's a long walk thru Kaimuki.
