Sheltered

Another awful, wild day, but with more wind and less rain.  Even simple things become much harder to do when you are constantly fighting against the wind; everything has to be held on to, untied before use and retied afterwards, even Bonny's hen house roof has had to be weighted down!  Up at H's this afternoon just walking was exhausting, battling to stay upright, especially with a wheelbarrow!

These Japanese anemones are sheltering under the hebe hedge.  I gave them a good trim a bit earlier in the year, and these new flowers are a lovely surprise.
