Allotment Again

Headed down to the allotment this afternoon just to dump the kitchen compost but the weather was so fantastic I stayed for hours. It'd turned chilly but there was hardly a breath of wind, so garbed in two jumpers and a woolly hat it was perfect for hoeing, weeding and digging up spuds. Usually the birds are out watching for unearthed worms and bugs but not today. Maybe they're sated with berries, seeds and rotting fruit. Hope so!

I think blip might flag this up as a 6-year anniversary (it's not really as my very first blip was Oct 28th). I'm always gobsmacked that I keep managing to post every day, even if I sometimes rate zero on the interest scale. Always 'room for improvement' I guess but to be honest that's unlikely!
