Last Day on the Salmon River

On our last day, the steelheads continue to elude us. We had fun catching many other trout species, which we returned to let them grow bigger to play with us another day. Autumn continues to delight the eye with gaudy trees and bushes....that last salute to a great summer of camping and fishing. 
We're off for home and to winterize and tuck the little Haute Flasche in bed for the winter. I may just sit inside her one cold winter day and read my travel journals. I'm already dreaming of new waters.
