'The Ugly Duckling'

Loved seeing these black swans today! They have a single Cygnet which I'm surprised at, at this time of year. Originally from Australia. Brought to the UK as ornamental birds for zoos and private collections, with some escaping in to the wild over the years. Now becoming a common sight on some rivers and ponds across the UK.....
