When people ask what I'm doing for half term my answer is ride, run and read (and relax).

This morning I woke early so thought that I might as well go and do the parkrun, my first since I moved to this house. So I rode my bike down there in the freezing but beautifully frosty morning light. Ran the parkrun which felt really good and I even managed a PB. I think the kudos must go to Emma and her trio of pies last night (chicken & ham, vegetable & pistachio, followed by banoffee).

I then rode home, showered, got back into my pajamas, got back into bed and read for the rest of the morning.

Day one of half term and it's going well.
