Hy Brasil

Once every seven years, especially around Samhain, the other Atlantis - Hy Brasil - is revealed off the Irish coast in one of those thin places where land meets water  - a tantalising glimpse of colour and surely the sound of distant bells! 

Yes, a bit strapped for a blip today! I did just nip down to the strand to see if there was a dramatic sunset - not really and it was perishing though a V of Whooper swans whooped overhead ! A sprinkling of snow spotted on one of the mountains this morning too.

Other than that, a pootling sort of day and a a new blog
