Today's the day …………………………… to have 'beaucoup de la chance'

It's no accident that the French word for 'luck'  is - 'la chance'. 

We are SO lucky to have found our new home here on the outskirts of Kirkcudbright, Dumfries & Galloway - and that we have been given the chance to discover and enjoy a whole new way of life.  We are very happy!  It's great too that this is my 3000th blip - a real milestone to mark the occasion. 

So this is where we are for the foreseeable future.  In that white cottage on the bank of the River Dee, next to the wonderful bridge, designed by Thomas Telford, and built back in 1806.  It's still going strong.
