Women in Adventure sports

A terrible photo from an excellent day. 
I'm generally wary about women exclusive or targeted things in the outdoors but this one hit the mark. 
Small enough to be able to chat to loads of  people, input from a diverse range of speakers, plenty of time to discuss, digest and ask questions.
General topics around self efficacy, growth mindset and role models, with plenty of science and research based stuff mixed with plenty of real life experiences. 
Chatting to and sharing experiences with ladies at the top of thier game, often firsts and onlys, hearing the ups and downs of getting and staying there was genuinely inspirational (attainable role models and all that) - I occasionally get the fighting the tide feeling. 
They say never meet your heroes but todays unexpected meeting and subsequent conversations worked out ace.
Lots to take away, think on, apply.
