Not quite as we planned

We had planned to do some gardening today but it was so cold. So instead after running some errands in the morning we sat on the sofa in the warm.

As we were going to meet some friends for fish and chips we went in HtP’s van to Tesco’s to buy some flowers and some fizz to take with us.

When we returned to his van it wouldn’t start. After multiple attempts to start it the AA were called. While we waited we went for a coffee in the warm. When the repair man came he eventually got the van to start. As we were not able to go out to dinner, we gave the flowers to the AA man to give to his wife. Not wanting to stop the engine at my house and then it not restart I was dropped off.

I’ve spent the evening knitting.

While we waited for the AA man we looked at the flowers. They had some very nice orchids for only £5. I probably shouldn’t advertise for them.
