Ships on a stormy sea by John Toulmin

This is the surprise 50th birthday present that I received from my cousin TBay earlier this week. It is a copy of a watercolour painted by my grandfather. I know exactly where it will hang - just above the blue sofa in my study to the left of Fish the deep by my father.

I've been busy all day, mainly mining my way down my email. We also packed for a fun weekend away in the Lake District with Katherina, Andrew and Ruby, then caught the train to Penrith.

Exercise today: sit-ups, stretches and weights, minimal walking (6074 steps)
