Authority wears gloves

The OXI parade of schoolchildren young and older and soldiers and some disabled here in Chania on Crete today... but this event took place all over Greece in every city and village as it's a National Commemoration Day. 
Paraders were hailed as hero's by the public of parents and grandparents along the road. We'd positioned ourselves at the start of the route and so we watched for an hour and more, most of the paraders waiting for the sign of walks and getting little anxious and excited over all the attention they'd receive along the route of walks and fame. 
My blip has some 13 years old from Chania's 3rd Gymnasium challenging the leadership of the girl who wears white gloves coz of her leadership... Hearing the buzz of all them talking like twittering birds and seeing all their constant moves, was like being inside a birdsnest or a bee-hive.... Sweetheart (who was a teacher at highschools in yonder years) and I enjoyed this buzz before the parade took off lots
