Pale Autumn

Had a walk round the block as a break from altering four pairs of shorts for a man who has lost 4 inches round his waist and is going on holiday next month.
Intended walking further but the cold brought me home to the warmth and now looking forward to the beef stew which has been in the slow cooker all day.  If it tastes as good as it smells it will be delicious.
Not keen on the early darkness after altering the clocks last night.
