Making A Difference

Today is Making A Difference Day, and I spent a bit of it over at Moseley Hall Hospital with BCHC Charity. Days like today are exactly why I started working for the charity, and why I want to make it a full-time job. We'd paid for a lovely lady named Emma to travel around the hospital with us singing for the patients whilst Sarah, two delightful volunteers and I got staff and patients to draw the winners of the Big 70 Raffle we've been running for a few months. The patients loved Emma's performances and it was so heartwarming to hear them singing along, clapping and dancing. I'm not ashamed to admit that I almost cried a couple of times!
