So it all went splendidly. 

Ivy behaved very well on her first ever sleepover, and although we were constantly alert to every cough and midnight mutter as she slept by our bed, she didn't cause us any troubles at all. Being constantly alert, though, is a little taxing, and by the time mum had come and picked her up we were ready for a relaxing day...

...ah, but we've six for Sunday lunch! And Janet was booked for the village gardening group all morning! Somehow everything went well, but we're all rather exhausted. Unlike these two... This is Mary and Noel taken after a quite decent roast beef lunch.

Now, can someone slow the world down so I can catch up?
