Pear and almond cake

Spanish visitors tomorrow so it's got to be a cake with almonds. So I did an upside down cake for the first time today. This time, it's with pears which I picked from the allotment a month or so ago.

BTW, also trying out patatas bravas con chorizo from the BBC Good Food website. Wish me luck!
