Three Buddies

I believe these three little sandpipers are the Semipalmated variety.  I could be wrong, but it seems that the black legs are the identifying feature.  I like the way the first one is peeking at us.  I decided to take my walk today at the Massachusetts Audubon grounds in Wellfleet, instead of my usual route in the neighborhood.  I'm glad I did because the sun came out and the salt air was so refreshing.  I head back home tomorrow, where a long list of chores and activities awaits me.  I can't complain.  I had four lovely, restful days here.
