From Hummingbird to Hawk

Once again, Tony spotted the hawk landing in the decorative grass. This time he was only about 20 yards away from us. Cathy and I were watching the quail and didn't even see this big guy until Tony pointed him out.

The quail hot footed it in to the bushes when he landed. He looks so much better in the large format if you have the time to look.

I am grateful that these seem to be the only birds I get on the golf course lately. I'll take this any day!
