Chess and friends

C and I resumed our chess gaming this am - after a break of quite a few weeks. It was a return to form after a good warm up!

We ended up having a lovely impromptu afternoon over at our neighbour’s house after a last minute invitation. The children played rocket launchers on the field and we all came back in for rocky road, choc cake and tea - with a good old catch up - absolutely perfect.

Roast dinner with the children and an early night.
