Abbey Road

On a trip to London with my nephew ( he’s on the crossing) - his birthday treat from me Blues fest with Van Morrison and Robert Plant.
Stayed at the Intercontinental O2 - superb hotel - Mr P stayed there too before heading to Dublin. Managed a hand shake with Robert Plant at breakfast and a few minutes chat on Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival and his tribute to Bert Jansch - Glaswegian folk songwriter and founder of the group Pentangle - who died in 2011.
Wonderful visit. Had lunch at the Grapes - Ian McKellen’s pub which is full of character.
