St. Machars Cathedral

This is part of the inside of St Machars Cathedral in Old Aberdeen. The oldest part dates back to 1100-and-something. I am ashamed to say that 30 years ago, for several years in a row, I used to pass this wonderful building several times a day, but it was only today that I managed to go inside it. It is really worth it! Better late than never, I suppose!
