I - 5 Bridge - linking Washington with Oregon

Today I tried to fulfill a promise but could not deliver. A friend in Germany had asked me for a picture of the interstate bridge from a certain viewpoint. I knew exactly what he was talking about. So on my way home from Portland I stopped in Vancouver for the shoot. But I had to discover that the viewpoint was cordoned off for safety reasons. So I took a few pictures from different locations. I had to be quick because the break between heavy rain showers was not going to last long.
I know my friend will be disappointed but it is what it is!
