Through the Wild Thyme

A perfect day. After a fairly ordinary weather forecast we decided to stick to Plan A and 20 of us drove to Bannockburn and walked up through the gold sluicings to the ruins of Stewart Town. The wild thyme was at its best - a carpet of mauve interspersed with the gold of Californian poppies. (A few extras today!)
