Sun catchers...

Driving along at work, keeping an eye out for blip possibilities, I spotted these seed pods (I'm not sure exactly what they are!) catching the sunlight. I love their transparency.
I later had a chance to capture a woodpecker (the next bird on my list). One landed on a tree branch just as I was driving past it! I stopped, got out my camera, wound the window down... and unbelievably he was still there! I pointed the camera at him, zoomed in, then somewhere in the zooming, lost the woodpecker. I zoomed out to find him again and... he'd gone :-(
I'm happy with my seed pods for today :-)
