What comes around...

My children played with Rubic Cubes and now their children play with ....Rubic Cubes. 

Grandson 4 ( by age of course)shows his skills and speed on 54 and 24 module cubes and at speeds much faster than the previous generation. 

Is it the computer age influencing this change?
