And good to walk up hill into the village. After consulting the internet map we could see a circular walk from the village across the hillside into the next few villages. And it worked although good luck played a part as well, about three quarters of the way round we hit the same track as yesterday, a quiet sigh of relief. There’s no wind although just an occasional cold breeze which hits the neck, a change of direction and all is fine again. And as always the baguette, cheese and ham tasted better in the hills than sat at a table.
