Gefion's Night

Back before Odin was a god or Denmark even existed the goddess Gefion seduced the king of Sweden. He gave her things that she was needin' ….and it was arguably better than a home built of gold and steel or even a diamond car with platinum wheels. He said what land she could plow in one night, she could keep. At this point I don't think he'd sussed she was a goddess because she turned her four sons into oxen and went for it. She managed to plow out Sjealland (the island Cph is on). This is her going for it and those are her sons, taken with a very dodgy ND filter.


The king, Gylfi, was a bit of a sucker because he basically gave his country to the people of Odin and started worshipping their gods.*
