The last of five concerts since February in the Holywell Music Room at which two very talented young musicians have played all Beethoven's violin sonatas. Tonight: numbers 8 and 9 (Kreutzer). I've loved all the concerts but this evening was the best. The piano in Sonata 9 sounds to me like a sonata in its own right and the two melded into one were entrancing.
