Fed up.

After a critical update my PC is being a pain, sometimes it makes sense but other times it doesn't and now it is difficult finding where my pics are stored after downloading from the camera.  Too many experts(?) keep changing stuff methinks - if I get into feedback forums I find that there are lots of people finding the same problems.
