No, this is not a bit of Halloween fake blood.

I managed to just about slice my thumb off at work today!
Was washing some dishes for a client and a pottery mug that I was scrubbing just broke in half in the sink full of water and sliced me.
The poor old man was a bit panicked and tried to find me a sticky plaster but I knew it needed more than that and drove myself down to the medical centre.
After a clean up, 5 stitches and a Tetanus injection I came home.

Feeling sore now but should heal ok.
