The clouds are dense

After some lovely spring days recently, the weather has retreated to mimic the last gasps of winter. I choose to not ride through K Road on my bike in the wet, so the car gets to be used on mornings like today. As I was working from the Green Lane Clinical Centre, it made for a more direct trip. 

I did try for a photo of the top of Maungakiekie (called One Tree Hill, even in the absence of any trees on the summit). The results didn't inspire me. Instead, I turned to the pastel colours of a sunset hidden behind thick clouds.
