So, first day of the new job. Book seller in Waterstones.

I can't get the hang of the tills. The system used for checking is incomprehensible and has no user guide just 'ask Paul'. The loos are up two flights of stairs (three if you are working in the basement). The classification system doesn't seem to classify things, and the place is freezing.

However the t-shirt fits, the folk are lovely, and I am like a kid in a sweet shop.

It is going to be brilliant.
