Ollie is back!

Dear Diary,

So nice to see Ollie the Barred Owl in Auntie's tree again but watch out Rudy and friends!  At least he stayed long enough for me to make this photograph of him.  He's not here to socialize!  These owls are so beautiful.  Rudy was wise enough to stay well hidden and after I got my photograph I shooed Ollie away.  He usually comes just at dusk so maybe he will be back.

Rain and cold continued pretty much all day yesterday but this morning I see a bit of blue sky so maybe the sun will appear and dry things out.  John will be here tomorrow afternoon to finish the yard work.  Hope that happens.
