BLIPMEETING

Blipmeeting on Thursday, November 15th at Sizergh Castle, just south of Kendal, LA8 8DZ. There will be an opportunity to welcome Hilary of Hilary’ View who will be coming from Switzerland to take part in the Kendal Mountain Festival. Hilary should arrive at Sizergh by 12 noon and will need to leave by 14.30. There should be time for some lunch and a walk in the estate (see yesterday’s blip for views available).

If you are a National Trust Member please bring your card for free parking and entrance to the gardens. For non members entrance to the Cafe and estate walks are free but parking is quite expensive.

I look forward to seeing several old and some new friends.

Today’s blip is, I think, a mature male Black Darter. Very late in the season to find one. It was at Leighton Moss this morning.
