Dumyat
Dumyat (Dum-eye-at, not Dum-yat in case you were wondering) is the hill at the western edge of the Ochil Hills. The Ochils lie to the north of Stirling and the range stretches for 25 miles. They're lovely hills. Here's Dumyat with its winter coat starting to show. In spring the hills will turn green again but there's a good few months of dun colour to go.
Although it was slightly damp this morning the weather has steadily improved and I spent some time sweeping up and cutting back in the garden. The frosts at the weekend had an impact on flowers like nasturtiums. The mushy remains are in the brown bin now. Then I decided to take the dog round a bit of the river further from home which is where I spotted the light on the hills.
