We went into Leicester today to buy Victor's birthday presents - he's going to be 8 on Friday and he's mad on football. Also visited the market for cheese, sausage and fruit. Bought a few yards of wadding from my favourite stallholder for the blankets I'm making at Christmas - it's quite bulky to carry so we'll go back next week for some of his other material that caught my eye. We decided to have a quickie pub lunch in Wetherspoon's and I liked the row of Day of the Dead skulls above the bar so I took a couple of photos. It no longer bothers me that people wonder what I'm doing when I take photos of strange things...
