Life in a Northern Town

I was in Preston for the day for a work event, which presented the usual challenge of how many plaques I could encounter on my walk from the station to the campus and back again. A little advance scouting on Open Plaques helps with route choice. As the days are shorter, the return walk was in the gloom, hence the rather grainy and fuzzy images on some.
