Blackout

Arrived sharp to get on with work to find the building and the locality in darkness and all our phones dead. Our second power cut in 10 days.

We were required to leave the building for health and safety reasons (and no heating). I had to wait with Jackie to meet up with a visitor from the Foreign and Commnwealth Office.

When he arrived we headed off to a place we could get coffee and some food.

Only at late lunchtime was power (and Security) restored. So lots of catching up to do. At least in the interim battery powered laptops allowed us to function.
