Autumn stillness

You really can not beat a day like this when everywhere is still, a frost covering fallen leaves and cobwebs and a blue sky with sunshine.
The day started with a good sunrise with a layer of mist hanging on the surface of the water.Iverness was covered in a blanket of fog where we had clear blue skies.
A male brambling appeared at the feeder the second sighting this year.
To nice to stay in so Mike and myself went for a walk in the Rosehaugh estate, surpisingly we had it to ourselves so had a very peaceful wander.Plenty to see including a tree creeper .
The water at the top pond was very still. All the reeds and bullrushes were covered in frost and glistened in the sunshine.
Back home and Richard popped over and had some lunch.
It was soon time to leave for Brownies.Had to stop at Redcastle to take a few photos , could not miss out of a few shots of the sun setting over a completely still Firth.
We went to the cinema room in The Hub ,Muir of Ord to see The Greatest Showman.Such a great space with seats for 44 which we more or less filled. So just being us the girls could chat and sing along during the film. One of the girls was a bit anxious and was in tears at the beginning so she came and sat with me at the front. Managed to calm her down and she enjoyed it in the end. A few had a ‘trip to the loo’ during one of the ‘scary’ bits but soon returned once that part was over.( can’t say what happened as do not want to spoil it for those who have not seen it )
It was great fun and lovely to hear them singing along.
