Union Street

It seems a long time now that maintenance work has being going on at this church. It may be nearing completion as there seems to be less scaffolding now. I didn't notice at the time, but when I looked at the photograph on the computer I saw that a man is climbing a ladder up the steeple. I have climbed vertical ladders on oil tanks in my time, but I do not find them ideal, and I don't think I could have faced climbing to the top of the steeple.

A visit to the hairdresser today, and then to a chemist to book a flu vaccination as I don't know when I would be able to get one via the surgery.
