Murmuration

By Murmuration

Difficult to choose a blip today as we crammed so much in. This morning we ticked off one of the things on my bucket list and visited Highgate cemetery. The cemetery is split into 2 parts and one side could only be visited on a guided tour. The grave above belongs to a boxer who when he past away had his dog as the chief mourner in the lead carriage (although he did have a wife!) The other side of the cemetery contained some more recent graves including Karl Marx, Malcolm Mclaren and Douglas Adams. For graveyard fans like myself it was totally fascinating.
Spent the afternoon around Covent garden and then at an African Miusic festival being held in Trafalgar square. Chinese meal in Chinatown and then Macarons and coffee at a wee french restaurant next to our hotel. Bliss.
