Pannaging Pig

The custom of pannage -releasing pigs into the New Forest to eat up the acorns which are harmful to cattle and ponies - apparently dates back to the time of William the Conqueror.  With grateful thanks to LifesJourney for suggesting Bolderwood as a likely pig spotting venue.  My sister-in-law was thrilled to see the pigs.  No deer though.

Birthday meal at the Larderhouse in Southbourne.  Have you tried this Bella888?  I can recommend it.
