Road hazards are a common occurrence here in Mexico. From unexpected topes (speed bumps) to broken manhole covers (like here) it is vital to be alert when driving. Instead of using expensive to purchase cones, many times old tires painted yellow are used to warn motorists of a potential problem. This is not the first time I have seen tires used in this fashion, but the palm frond is a new addition.
