Marmaladas?

Life is back to normal. The usual routine. 

Well, almost… I’ve picked up a cold virus so work was a struggle and Gaelic class skipped. 

Potential Blip material has shrunk with the daylight hours available - lunch break and not much more. Anyway, I managed something - but not lunch. 

It’s a wee parting gift from Lithuania. In Lithuanian it is marmaladas. That translates as “marmalade”, but clearly it isn’t - at least not in the sense I know it. It’s a kind of jelly. It’s made from sea buckthorn (šaltalankis) and ginger, and it is delicious. 

Sea buckthorn seems to be much more popular there than in Scotland. Pity.
