His Majesty's Theatre

I joined a group of theatre going colleagues tonight for dinner and then on to His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen to see the touring production of Blood Brothers.

These ladies are regulars at theatre shows and plan their annual itinery at least a year in advance, booking up the good seats as they are released. Their dinner plans and car sharing arrangements are second to none and you can't fault their knowledge of perfect parking spots or the most efficient ice cream vendor.

I felt almost grown up sitting in good seats in the stalls, but significantly more so when in the toilets at the interval I overheard a gaggle of school girls wondering who that person was playing the part of the narrator. They obviously didn't go through high school to the sound of Wet Wet Wet.
