“Victory Over Blindness”

This morning I had a presentation to do which I’m pleased to say went well and I came away with some new ideas for work which I’m really exited about.
I’m full of cold however so didn’t hang around and was headed to the station by lunchtime.
This statue outside Manchester Piccadilly station by Johanna Domke-Guyot, depicts 7 blind world war soldiers each with an arm on the man in front. Commissioned by charity, Blind Veterans Uk , founded 100 years ago continues to help soldiers effected by blindness.
